Biography
The B.A.S.R Editorial Team is the small group of writers and researchers who draft and fact-check articles for The Journal. Team-bylined articles are researched collaboratively and reviewed by founder and publisher Rico Sharma before they go live.
The team works to a simple standard: cite primary sources where they exist, link to them directly so readers can check the original, separate documented history from opinion, and correct errors in the open rather than quietly editing them away.
Where an article expresses a political viewpoint, that viewpoint is stated openly. Be American Stay Republican™ is an avowedly conservative publisher and does not present itself as a neutral news outlet.
